Paper towels

I've figured out how to determine if a restaurant in China is a nice one for the area you're in and whether you might be paying a higher price for convenience.

If the place has paper towels in the bathroom, it is a luxury that you're probably paying for in your meal cost. This is a country where about half the time they charge you for napkins at the table or for your dishes to be cleaned and wrapped in plastic.

If the restaurant you're eating in has toilet paper in the stall with western style toilets (sit down) that means it is a *very* nice place. I mean that's like, most Chinese people probably can't afford to eat there except for somewhat special occasions like having a guest over or for business reasons.
