Pirarucu

This is the name of the largest amazon fish that I~ve eaten about a half dozen times while I was in Manaus and in the jungle. I thought it just tasted like bass or halibut. It's hard to tell because of all the spices and veggies that go into the dishes. It's a pretty big fish. A cut about a square foot on one side can feed 5 people for dinner.
