Did you find it in Peru? You are a lucky man.
You know what means 사랑채.
Traditional Korean houses are built by 2 ㄱ type. One at inside and the other at outside, facing each other.
Inside one called 안채 and outside one called 바깥채 or 사랑채.
Women lived inside and men lived outside mostly.
Outside house(사랑채) was opened for guests and travelers almost all the time. They share the room and serve food for almost anybody.
With that, the men made a good social life and heard outside news.
So, Sarangche means a place greeting and serving place for the guests and travelers.
so how was this restaurant?
